Calm ... cautious ... courageous!
In these unexpected, unprecedented and (let's face it) uncomfortable times,
God gives us an unparalleled reassurance that he is right here with us.
In the middle of our uncertainty, in the middle of our fear, in the middle of our grief, our loving God says,
"I will never fail you. I will never abandon you" (Hebrews 13:5b NLT).
As we are forced to live life differently,
and as we are forced to find new ways to do church and be church in our communities,
be calm
knowing that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him" (Romans 8:28 NIV),
be cautious
respecting at all times the restrictions our God-given government has put in place, and
be courageous
in reaching out to God for his peace and guidance
and reaching out to each other with the love of Jesus.
